HONG KONG: QUARANTINE FREE TO MACAU

Starting from 23^rd Dec 2022, Macau opens the border to welcome the travellers from Hong Kong, Taiwan and foreign countries. Ultimately, the Government removed the most of the epidemic prevention measures.

What you have to prepare before heading to Macau?

Besides your travel document, you still need to have a 72 hours Nucleic Acid Test negative report.

How to change your Amber Code to a Green Code in Macau?

You have to consecutively upload your Rapid Antigen Test Result to the local Health Code system. If you have negative result for 5 consecutively days, then you will get a green code. If unfortunately, you have a positive result, then your health code will turn red.

Can you same day return to Hong Kong?

Yes, you can leave Macau on the same day. However, if you want to go to China via Macau, then you have to stay in Macau for 8 days. And then you can go to China on the 9^th Day.
