Restaurant and Bar HK 2014 opened a fabulous Food & Beverage trade industry event allowing many exciting features. It hosted thousands of brand new products from hundreds of suppliers, where there were free training sessions, intense competitions, networking of influential F&B professionals.
Centre O Connect took full advantage of this and quenched its sweet thirst for the great wine, beer, cider, coffee, and many more enlightening liquid products.
It was great to witness these “sip and learn” sessions (although centre O employees incorporated more of a “Sip and Sip” style) that were conducted by the audience and by wine connoisseurs on the tasting stage for free across its three-day event in addition to providing inspiration for wine matching. There was also a magnificent competition where expert baristas and siphonists from the region showing their coffee making skills in exciting championships. A series of adrenaline rushing through the audience (not from the coffee ironically) had them going as the final judging of the Hong Kong Siphonist Championship determined who possesses top skills in this vacuum-focused brewing method.
